INTERACTIVITY
In the highly connected world, interactivity is the way we learn. Say good-bye to boring classes and get ready for our fun packed activities. Our coding adventure recruits little explorers who dare to take on challenges and love creating new stuff with friends and families.
“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instil a love of learning.”
comprehension by hands-on projects
Our teaching approach utilise mini topics for every 2-3 weeks to focus on particular area of coding concepts. Starting from the fundamental numeracy operations, such as sequence addition and subtraction, students gradually learn to group numbers based on their properties, and finding patterns among different groups. As confidence in manipulating numbers grows, we introduce the concept of looping and condition to add more fun. Once students have grasped all the fundamental concepts in logic and coding, our hands on projects help consolidate their learning. It is far more efficient to memorise all the concepts learnt by exercising them in real applications, comparing to simply following step-by-step instructions without having a holistic view of the concepts first.
TEACHER AND LEARNER DYNAMICS
Because every generation is familiar with different technology for learning, we need to deliver in different ways to ensure students are constantly engaged. While older children feel natural reading and drawing on their tablets, younger students will be more engaged in interacting and playing with real objects that stimulate their visual and tactile senses. Hot topics such as new toys/games may also enhance learning experience and can be useful as great motives (eg., fidget spinner / Pokemon Go). Therefore the dynamics between our teacher and students are constantly shaping and reinforcing each other, to the strong bindings in every topics and actives toward an involving and joyful learning experience.
team work and collaboration
Join our exciting learning adventure, where friendships are one of the most valuable experience you will finding along the way. With friends around children are more active and motivated in learning, especially when facing challenging problems. In addition, young students also have the opportunity to learn from their older friends.
